Evening with Minister Yamamoto

The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to a wrap up event for Small Business Month with Naomi Yamamoto, Minister of State for Tourism and Small Business. Hosted by Steve Laird at Laird Wheaton GM, 2590 Bowen Road, on Thursday, October 30th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

This free informal stand-up event is perfect for those involved in local small business activities or the tourism industry. Minister Yamamoto will be available to field some questions related to small business, the tourism industry or the BC government.

Her background as a business owner and her solid connections within the Chamber network as the President and General Manager of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, as well as, Chair of the BC Chamber of Commerce in 1997 have served her well as the Champion of Small Business.

Naomi is in town to help celebrate Small Business month with the Nanaimo business community.
