About Us

The Nanaimo Child Development Centre (NCDC) believes in the potential of all children and is dedicated to the individuals and families we serve. Founded in 1967 and serving seven children, the NCDC is a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of services, programs and supports to nearly 1800 children with special needs and their families annually.

Through the tremendous support from parents, volunteers, businesses and the community the NCDC has grown from its humble beginnings to be a leader in early childhood development and children’s services in our area. It is through these partnerships that we endeavor to continue to pursue excellence in meeting the service needs of the children and families we serve.
