Monthly Luncheon

Guest Speaker
Sheila Malcolmson, MP, Nanaimo-Ladysmith

Elected in 2015, Sheila is an experienced leader working to deliver positive results as the Member of Parliament for Nanaimo-Ladysmith.

This is Sheila’s second annual report from Parliament to the Nanaimo business community. She will address her work in Ottawa and bring us updates on items related to the Nanaimo business community. #1, of course, is a report on the status of government’s proposed tax legislation that the Chamber has determined will have a dramatic negative impact on small businesses – the backbone of Nanaimo’s economy.

Among Sheila’s other priorities is her work around Derelict and Abandoned Vessels. Don’t miss this vital report from our Member of Parliament. Bring your questions and let her know what your concerns are.
