Since 1888, The Salvation Army has been committed to addressing human need through our life-transforming work in downtown Nanaimo. Staff of the New Hope Centre help restore dignity and hope for marginalized members of society by providing compassion, support, meals, safe lodging, clothing caseworker and chaplain services, referrals to a wide range of community partners, opportunity for recovery, and safe, supported reintegration to society. #LovePeople Hope/Service/Dignity/Stewardship.
