About Us
The Nanaimo Port Authority, also known as the Port of Nanaimo, administers, controls, and manages the harbour, waters and foreshore adjacent to Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
With safety, security and sustainability top of mind, our purpose is to build and maintain port resources. The Port stimulates projects and initiatives, in cooperation with community partners and businesses, that will crate new jobs and increase economic development opportunities.
Directions:
Coming from the south of Nanaimo
Island Hwy (Trans Canada #1) – at traffic light at the bottom of the hill turn right on Esplanade and right at the first corner – still Esplanade – Left at Crace Street (a five street corner) proceed (over bridge over tracks on Port Way) to Buildings – turn Right – Go along fence line to and follow roadway past the grey warehouse on your left (BC Vehicle Processing Centre) to Passenger Terminal and Port Authority Administration Offices (2nd floor).
Coming from the north of Nanaimo
Island Hwy (Trans Canada #1) – at the traffic light at Port Place Mall on left and bottom of the hill turn left on Esplanade and right at the first corner – still Esplanade – Left at Crace Street (a five street corner) proceed over bridge over tracks on Port Way to Buildings – turn Right – go along fence line to gate on left – Go along fence line and follow roadway past the grey warehouse on your left (BC Vehicle Processing Centre) to Passenger Terminal and Port Authority Administration Offices (2nd floor).
