PST Workshop & Brown Bag Lunch

BC Government partners with Chambers to support business PST transition

Seminars to help BC businesses prepare for the return to PST are being held by the BC Government in partnership with Chambers of Commerce. The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is holding the following workshop:

PST Workshop & Brown Bag Lunch
Date:February 5, 2013 Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Event Description Brown Bag Lunch & Learn at the Chamber

In connection with the return to PST on April 1, 2013, the Ministry of Finance is conducting seminars across the province to assist businesses. Presenters from the ministry will be holding a seminar for the benefit of our business community and will cover pertinent topics such as registrations, filing requirements, and administrative changes. They will also be available to answer your questions. Limited seating. Coffee will be provided.

For those unable to attend this workshop, there will be 50 webinars held across the province, which will cover the general principles of the PST and the new eTaxBC online business registration service.

An interactive google map has all 50 chamber locations and other details. Please check with your local chamber of commerce for more information.

Other resources include webinars, videos, on-site reviews and tax specialist assistance - a full listing of PST resources for businesses can be found on the BC Chamber website.
