Join Nanaimo Brain Injury Society (NBIS) to celebrate the launch of their new Axis Cognitive Rehab Clinic!
Nanaimo Brain Injury Society’s new Axis Cognitive Rehab Clinic offers a holistic, research-based cognitive program that has shown remarkable results in helping people affected by brain injury to reclaim their lives by improving cognition, overall well-being, return to work, sports, and more.
Axis Cognitive Rehab is power by ABI Wellness’ proprietary Brain Enhance and Recovery System (BEARS) four pillar system that includes cognitive training, cardio exercise, mindfulness curriculum, and progress tracking. This program helps participants to “re-wire” their brain through neuroplasticity versus traditional compensatory rehab programs for brain injury. NBIS is the only organization on Vancouver Island licensed to offer this program.
