2025 September Monthly Networking Luncheon

2025 September Monthly Networking Luncheon

Presented by Nanaimo Community Hospice

We’re Back for Our First Luncheon After Summer Break!

After a refreshing summer pause, the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome you to our September Monthly Networking Luncheon, presented by Nanaimo Community Hospice Society. Join us on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM for an afternoon of meaningful connection, great food, and community spirit.

What It’s About

As a non-profit charitable organization, Nanaimo Community Hospice Society’s vision is that the dying experience dignity and peace, their caregivers receive the help they need, and their family and friends are supported in their grief.

Dying, caregiving, and grieving are three of life’s greatest challenges. Nanaimo Hospice believes that everyone facing these challenges—regardless of age, means, or culture—deserves compassionate support. With dignity and care, their volunteers and professional staff provide no-cost programs, resources, and education to the community when and where they are needed most.

In this luncheon presentation, you’ll learn about the various programs and services Hospice offers, and how individuals and organizations can get involved to help them serve our community during life’s most vulnerable times.

Why Attend – Discover Compassionate Support in Your Community

Join us to explore how Nanaimo Community Hospice provides essential care, comfort, and connection to individuals and families facing end-of-life challenges. Whether you’re a caregiver, healthcare professional, community member, or simply curious, you’ll gain valuable insights into:

  • No-cost programs that provide comfort and dignity at life’s end

  • Grief support services for families and friends

  • Volunteer opportunities to give back in meaningful ways

  • Resources and education to strengthen our community’s ability to care

You’ll leave informed, inspired, and empowered to access or support services that make a real difference—when they’re needed most.
