2025 March Business After Business

2025 March Business After Business

Hosted by Rotary clubs of Nanaimo & Lantzville

About: The Rotary Club of Nanaimo was chartered in May 1920 and subsequently additional Rotary Clubs have been chartered: Nanaimo North (1972), Lantzville (1983), Nanaimo Daybreak (1995).  In addition, the community includes a Rotaract Club (youth 18 to 30) (2004) and an Interact Club (youth 12 to 18). Rotary International has identified six Areas of Focus that guide work in local and international communities.  The scope of each of these areas is described at https://www.rotary.org/en/our-causes.  They are:

  • Promoting peace
  • Fighting disease
  • Providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene
  • Saving mothers and children
  • Supporting education
  • Growing local economies

About our Speaker:

Evelyn is a business owner in Nanaimo and Charter member of the Rotary Club of Nanaimo Daybreak which was established in 1995. Over the years she has served in the capacity of President, Treasurer, Secretary, and on a variety of Committees. She is currently Chair of the Four-Club Partnership Committee, which is made up of members from each of the four Clubs and the Rotaract Clubs in our area. The goal of the Partnership Committee is to promote Rotary in Nanaimo and Lantzville, through advertising and marketing materials, as well as joint fund-raising and service events with the focus on helping our community. Rotary is a wonderful way to give back to the community, make friends, and work together for the benefit of all, here and all over the world.
