About Us
Supporting Students and Building Futures: The Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation is a registered, community-based charity that helps vulnerable students and solicits scholarships & bursaries to assist Grade 12 graduates with the high cost of post-secondary education.
School District 68 has a high child poverty rate: Almost 1 in 5 students is affected by poverty. Generous donors give us the means to support vulnerable students. Our annual Stock the Lockers campaign raises funds for school supplies and other practical needs of school children affected by poverty.
