Good Morning Mastery: Frauds & Scams

Good Morning Mastery presents:

FRAUDS & SCAMS: HOW TO PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS

March is FRAUD prevention month. On Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 join guest speakers Cst. Gary O'Brien and Mark Jordan to learn What to Watch for and How to Protect Your Business. The threats of loss due to fraud come from outside sources as well as employees. Recovering lost funds can be difficult and sometimes not possible, so prevention is key.

Cst. Gary O'Brien
Media Relations Officer,
Crime Stoppers Coordinator
RCMP Officer Gary O’Brien will remind the audience of all the tricks and taunts that fraudsters use to separate a business from their hard-earned cash. From online to telephone to mail and in-person tactics, each and every business has to stand guard over their assets so that slippery-fingered felons give them a pass.

Mark Jordan, CPA, CA
Senior Manager, Investigative and Forensic Services
MNP LLP
Mark Jordan is a Senior Manager with MNP’s Investigative & Forensic Services team. Drawing on extensive experience in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, Mark works with private and public companies of all sizes to assist them in resolving financial losses or disputes. Mark will provide a step-by-step strategy to prevent, detect and deal with organizational fraud.

Good Morning Mastery is a professional development series held monthly at the Chamber and designed to broaden and enrich leadership capabilities and business skills. The Chamber brings together expert business panels and speakers to help members increase their capacity and strengthen their skills.

Never stop learning.
