Cybersecurity for Small and Medium Sized Businesses

Cybersecurity for Small and Medium Sized Businesses

In today's digital age, small and medium businesses are increasingly targeted by cyber threats that can lead to significant financial loss, reputational damage, and operational disruptions. This Chamber U course facilitated by Walter Anderson provides a practical, no-nonsense introduction to cybersecurity, focusing on the essentials that small business owners must understand to protect their operations. Participants will explore the most common cyber threats, such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering, and learn how to identify and mitigate these risks. The session is designed to empower business owners with the knowledge and tools to proactively safeguard their business against cyber-attacks, even with limited resources.

  • Understand the Critical Role of Cybersecurity in Business Continuity
  • Identify and Prioritize Cyber Threats Based on Business Impact
