DESCRIPTION:Nanaimo Child Development Centre\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nTHE SILLY BOATS ARE BACK!! \n\n\n\nJoin us for lunch to learn more about the Nanaimo Child Development Centre's Silly Boat Races and how your business can get involved.  The Silly Boat Race is their largest annual fundraiser\; in 2019 the event raised over $100\,000 to help support children and families in our community.  \n\n\n\nThis year\, more than ever\, they need the support of their community.  After two years of hiatus\, they are excited to return to in-person fundraising events.  The donations raised at their 2022 Silly Boat event will go towards purchasing specialized therapeutic equipment\, funding their Family Resource Navigator program to provide parents with community resources\, education\, and support\, and facilitating their summer camp for children with developmental needs.
