SUMMARY:2022 Nanaimo Chamber AGM Networking Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:We invite you to witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and the Snuneymuxw First Nations.  This defines our shared commitment to optimize opportunities for economic reconciliation for Indigenous persons in our community.  SFN and the Chamber began work on this agreement three years ago\, and are excited to finally celebrate it. \n\nThe event is part of the 2022 Nanaimo Chamber AGM Luncheon.\n\n \n\n\nThis occasion is very important for the participants and organizers. It is an historic event and we will want to capture this via photography and video. As a public event\, it is possible that this may capture images of most people in the room. By registering\, you are granting permission for a possible image capture of yourself. There will be certain spaces in the venue that we will avoid capturing and can advise you of those spaces when you arrive. Public domain media may also be on hand capturing this as a news event in which case individual releases are not possible to obtain.\n\n\n\nPlease note that we will be taking the appropriate precautions as directed by the VICC in response to Provincial Health Orders at the time of the event.  In order to attend in-person event you may be required to show proof of vaccination with an online QR code. Other conditions may apply at the time of the event.
